Hello,

We did our corn binding on Fri. June 25, this was sweet corn that we had finished picking so we cut the stalks for horse feed while still green. Started with 2 horses and then went to 3 to make it easier work. It was very hot all day, I believe it was 37C for part of the day. Then we loaded the bundles to store them under a shed. The horses are Bulah and her two daughters Fanny and Rosa. Last year Jelmer and Ties were here helping with the corn binding, we sure did miss them yesterday! Wish they could have been here again, would have enjoyed talking with them while working!

Bulah is like an ostrich with its head in the sand, she thinks I cant see her. Or maybe I only have to use half a horse for my field work. These pictures were taken Monday, cultivating the sweet corn for the last time.<><>

The corn was planted March 16, except for the one short row which was planted 3 weeks later. The muzzle keeps Bulah from eating very much.
