We ontvingen onderstaande beelden van de familie Flowers uit Blackville. Het is jammer dat de afstand zo groot is. Wel is Jelmer vorige zomer bij hun op (werk)bezoek geweest. Een verslag staat in het winternummer van Starke Pferde 2009. Een blad dat zijn geld dubbel en dwars waard is. Enkele pagina"s zijn hieronder afgedrukt.

Tommy Flower says:

The horse is our only Percheron, she is zwartschimmel, rare color for a Percheron. The 2 girls are our daughters, Hannah the youngest at 14, Annie in the white coat is 24. The group with all the children riding is a local Mennonite family.

We got the bobsled in 1994, and this is only the second time we have had snow since then and could use it! We don't see much snow in our area. This time the snow is about 5 inches, maybe 12 cm?? The first pictures were at 9 in the morning and the snow was good, the last ones were at noon and the snow was already starting to melt.
